The Faculty of Industrial Technology Cooperated with the Japan Foundation to hold the Training on Adding Value to Products with Packaging
**On April 4, 2019, the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, cooperated with the Japan Foundation, Bangkok, to hold the training under the topic “Adding Value to Products with Packaging” at Room 4711, Building 47, the Faculty of Industrial Technology. In this training, Assistance Professor Dr. Palang Wongtanasuporn, the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, presided to give the speech in the opening ceremony, and Mr. Patinya Saengarun, the Printing Industrial Teacher, was responsible for briefing the opening remark.
***The training aimed to provide the participating trainees knowledge and understanding on the importance of packaging towards the products as well as to add value to the products with packaging. The speaker in this training was Assistance Professor Orasa Jitpinyo, the Consultant of Thai Package Design Association (ThaiPDA) and Thai Packaging Association (TPA), and her topics were “from Sushi to Meal Box, from Culture to Industry”—the interesting topic of Thai from Japanese perspectives and “International Packaging Contest of Asian Students” which were paid attention by 100 trainees consisting of Assistance Professor Dr. Somsakul Jerasilp and students majoring Publication Design, Graphic Design and Multimedia, and Industrial Product Design from the Faculty of Industrial Technology, students majoring Packaging and Printing Design from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon and students majoring Product Design from King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok as well as Chitralada Technology College.
